Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ChaChing app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the app.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Antônio João Damião Filho ("Developer", "we"), developer and owner of ChaChing.

To use ChaChing, you declare that you:

• Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
• Have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• Have not been prohibited from using the app by any legal or judicial determination.

Description of service

ChaChing is a personal finance management app that allows users to:

• Create "pockets" — spending categories with personalized limits.
• Record and track financial transactions (expenses and income).
• View monthly and annual spending reports.
• Manage credit cards, bank accounts, and payment methods.
• Control installment purchases and personal investments.
• Use AI-powered features to analyze spending and add expenses via receipt photos (Pro).

Plans and features

ChaChing is available in two plans:

We reserve the right to change the features available in each plan with reasonable prior notice to users.

ChaChing Pro subscription

4.1 Billing and renewal

The ChaChing Pro subscription is billed monthly and processed exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing occurs at the time of purchase confirmation and automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.2 Management and cancellation

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests are managed by Apple or Google, in accordance with their respective refund policies.

4.4 Price changes

We may change the subscription price. You will be notified in advance and the change will take effect on the next renewal period.

User account

Account creation is optional for the free plan and required for cloud sync with ChaChing Pro.

5.1 User responsibilities

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and access credentials.
• All activities conducted on your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at ajdamiaof@gmail.com.

5.2 Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by visiting our account deletion page or emailing ajdamiaof@gmail.com. Deletion is processed within 30 days and is irreversible.

Acceptable use

ChaChing is licensed for personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• Use the app to manage your personal and/or family finances.
• Enter personal financial data honestly and accurately.
• Export your own data for personal use.
• Share your experiences and reviews of the app.

Prohibited uses

It is expressly prohibited to:

• Use the app for illegal, fraudulent, or third-party rights-infringing activities.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract data from the app.
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to the app to third parties.
• Use the app for money laundering, tax evasion, or any unlawful financial activity.

Intellectual property

ChaChing and all its components — including source code, design, interface, icons, logos, text, animations, and features — are the exclusive property of Antônio João Damião Filho and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8.1 License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use ChaChing on devices you own or control, exclusively for personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

8.2 Your data

The financial data you enter in the app is your property. By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data exclusively to provide the sync service.

Disclaimer of warranties

ChaChing is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of profits, data, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Damages arising from financial decisions based on app data.
• Losses caused by technical failures or service unavailability.

Availability and modifications

We strive to keep ChaChing available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, add, remove, or discontinue features at any time. Significant changes affecting paid features will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.

Termination

You may stop using ChaChing at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate any provision of these Terms, use the app illegally, or pose a security risk. Upon termination, your license to use the app is revoked.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil.

General provisions

Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding ChaChing.

Severability: if any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

Communications: formal notices must be sent by email to ajdamiaof@gmail.com.
